FIELD: motion of sea-going vessels with no consumption of fuel and power. SUBSTANCE: shaft of wheel 2 of marine engine rotor connected with ship's propulsor is provided with single-side unbalance relative to axis 0 which is constantly maintained. To this end, weights 3 are mounted on wheel in flow-through chambers 9 by means of thermosensitive elements; these weights are movable in radial direction at change of temperature in heating zone in cooling zone of water surrounding the ship which is brought in communication with deep layer of cold water by means of pipe line 5 and is provided with fixed flat surfaces 8 located on face of wheel above level of water; besides that, cylindrical concentric surfaces 10 and 11 and radial partitions 12 are mounted on wheel. Water is fed through pipe line due to velocity head, hydrostatic pressure and by means of pump 6 which may be disconnected. Weights are placed at different distances on different sides from vertical A-A passing through axis 0; rotor is set in rotation under action of gravitational forces. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 cl, 6 dwg
