FIELD: measurement of mass flow rate of air sucked into internal combustion engine. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has holder made of two members placed one above another ( frame member with hole for installation of sensitive element and fixing member ). Surface of the latter forms bottom of recess in which sensitive element is positioned, has lamella- shaped protrusions around which conduit in the form of spout passes. Sensitive element is partially cemented to protrusions so that conduit passes along perimeter of sensitive element, outside of its sensitive zone in the form of membrane carrying one measurement resistor as minimum. Narrow clearance of the order of several microns is located between sensitive element and wall of recess on side facing flow. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and precision of measurement thanks to diminished risk of failure of sensitive element and prevention of its flow in recess from beneath. 9 cl, 4 dwg
