FIELD: engine manufacture. SUBSTANCE: valve-type injector has valve body with annular delivery cavity provided on its end facing the combustion chamber and communicating with intake channel; cavity is enclosed by flexible valve member which is held tight through its packing surface against fixed valve seat due to its inherent pressure and is free to move away under pressure within delivery cavity. Arranged downstream of flow section of hole being opened is at least one spray hole for injecting fuel in engine combustion chamber. Flexible valve member made in the form of diaphragm is locked in position at its central part relative to valve body and forms sealing surface by its edge zone radially facing outside and free to spring back away from valve seat. EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated shaping of fuel jet, improved service life of diaphragm. 12 cl, 4 dwg
