FIELD: fiber optics. SUBSTANCE: the fiber-optic cable has at least one light conduit and filling compound enveloping the light conduit. The filling compound has at least one plasticizer with at least one additive that interacts with the plasticizer and gets dissolved or softened by it. The share of plasticizer makes up 99 to 92 percent by mass of filling compound. The filling compound is combined with the additive in the area of the light conductor.
