SUBSTANCE: optical fibre is delivered to the operational area, where buffer layer is applied to it. Upon passing the system of rollers by a treated article a buffer layer and a lay of reinforcing members are applied to it; the above lay includes two layers of reinforcing members. The outer layer is distributed evenly along the whole area of buffer layer, and it passes between buffer layer and protective shell. The inner layer is introduced into buffer layer along its square area and depth, it forms the integral part of buffer layer. Further outer protective shell is applied in longitudinal direction.

EFFECT: increase in cable strength, reduced consumption of materials, reduced dimensions and weight, vibration and temperature impact.
