FIELD: roentgen engineering for medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves formation of anode substrate, deposition of X-ray generating target on the latter, and single- or multiple-stage heat treatment; doping layer, at least 3 mm thick, is deposited on target surface in vicinity of focal track prior to final heat treatment when target porosity is still rather great. Doping element is deposited by evaporation or by powder metallurgy method such as binder method. Doping elements used for the purpose are Re or Os. EFFECT: reduced consumption of doping element. 3 cl
