FIELD: electrical engineering, supply of power to equipment for electric welding, cutting and electrolysis. SUBSTANCE: DC supply source has input rectifier whose three first leads are used for connection to phase leads of network supply source and whose fourth lead is connected to zero lead. Output of input rectifier is connected to supply leads of inverter made of two frequency-adjusted current- stabilizing cells connected in series. Owing to organization of artificial zero lead in common point of cells voltages applied to them are always equal under any unbalance of powers consumed by them when circuit is energized from phase supply only without zero lead. Constancy of output current is maintained thanks to frequency adjustment of current-stabilizing cells operating both under pulse or package-pulse conditions. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, versatility of employment, increased functional reliability and improved mass and size characteristics. 1 dwg
