FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making superficial mechanical keratectomy with valve cover created before performing residual myopia correction. More than one half of keratotomy cicatrix length from the center is involved into the operation. The valve cover is rotated to take it aside. Corneal stroma evaporation is carried out using ultraviolet laser with Gauss distribution of power density forming in this way smooth straight line transition from laser treatment zone to intact zone. The valve cover is placed on the cornea bed. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness and quality of surgical treatment. 2 dwg
