FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves protecting posterior capsule of the eye lens, vitreous body and retina against harmful action of ultrasound when performing phacoemulsification. It involves making primary implantation of artificial eye lens into the space between the posterior capsule and the lens and then, phacoemulsification is carried out. EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications; accelerated surgical treatment.
