FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy; technology of lead production from storage battery scrap. SUBSTANCE: method includes leaching, filtration and subsequent separation of lead b electrolysis. Metal and sulfate- oxide fraction of scrap are leached with solution of ammonium hydroxide. Cake is dried at temperature of 280-300 C and melted at 700-720 C in carbonate-chloride electrolyte with reducing agent. EFFECT: provided integrated processing of lead storage battery scrap, production of lead-antimony alloy and lead in one apparatus, simplified process. 2 dwg, 2 ex
