FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; production of black lead from raw materials containing compositions of ore lead sulfide concentrates and sludge oxygen compounds of lead, for example oxy-sulfate fraction of storage battery scrap.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes melting of lead sulfate concentrates with oxy-sulfate sludge fraction of storage battery scrap which is added to sulfide concentrate at mass ratio of sulfide concentrate: oxy-sulfate fraction equal to 1: (2.0-2.5); burden thus formed in molten in alkaline medium.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of reagents.
