SUCTION DUCT OF GAS-TURBINE PLANT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: gas transfer sets and power generating plants. SUBSTANCE: proposed suction duct has suction noise silencer, two-stage air cleaner and suction chamber. Air cleaner has rough cleaning stage made in form of cyclone gang installed directly after noise silencer, and fine cleaning stage which is made in form of set of filtering elements. These elements consist of bags of fine-fiber cloth and overlap suction duct passage area. Fine cleaning element are installed on vertical walls of suction chamber, their inlet ports being connected with outlet ports of cyclone gangs by air guides. EFFECT: prevention of getting of foreign matter and particles into engine. 2 dwg
