FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in gas-transfer sets, power stations and other power systems using gas-turbine plant as drive of operating device. Proposed air intake contains carrying housing with tiers of unit-modules of cyclone filters and fine cleaning housing with detachable fine filters installed in cells, carrying housing being arranged under weather guard cap. Carrying housing has step variable section relative to vertical axis. Upper part of carrying housing in zone of arrangement of upper tier of cyclone filters unit-modules is considerably smaller in width relative to its width in zone of arrangement of lower tier of unit-modules. Fine cleaning housing with detachable filters fitted in cells over entire outer surface is placed inside zone to form rarefaction space.
EFFECT: provision of high degree of air cleaning at minimum overall dimensions, metal usage, labor input in manufacture, mounting, and maintenance expenses.
