FIELD: mechanical engineering; transport engineering; machine-tool industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed transmission includes coaxial input shaft 1 and output shaft 2, inertial braking unit and differential gear. Inertial braking unit includes bearing wheel 3 thrown into engagement with satellites 4 with are locked with inertia weights made in form of flywheels 5 mounted on drive shaft 7 which is located coaxially relative to input shaft 1 and holds first central wheel 15 of differential gear. Wheel 3 is linked with input shaft 1 by means of intermediate shaft 14 which is coaxial relative to input shaft 1 and mounted in transmission housing 8, bearing shaft 9 and two pairs of gear wheels (12, 10 and 11, 13) for rotation at higher frequency as compared with that of input shaft. Second central wheel 16 of differential gear is mounted on input shaft. Satellites of differential gear are made in form of external wheel 19 and internal wheel 20 (relative to 0-0 axis) fitted on radial axles 18 of carrier 17; each of them is thrown into engagement with first central wheel 15 and second central wheel 16 of differential gear whose carrier 17 is fitted on output shaft 2. EFFECT: possibility of automatically changing torque being transmitted and rotational speed of output shaft in wide range at high efficiency and under any operating conditions depending on load on this shaft. 5 cl, 1 dwg
