Abstract RU 2172558 C2

FIELD: communication equipment. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention consists in provision for reliable switching of communication from code-division multiple access system with use of pilot signal to system with alternate technology of access. Formers of pilot signal are added to each of aggregate of boundary base stations. Boundary base stations are base stations operating in agreement with alternate technology of access and having working zones adjacent to working zones of base stations of code-division multiple access system. Mobile unit detects pilot signals from boundary base stations in same manner as it detects pilot signals from base stations operating under mode of code-division multiple access system. When mobile unit detects pilot signal corresponding to boundary base station it notifies system controller in accordance with standard operation. After analysis of correspondence of pilot signal to boundary base station system controller initiates procedure of rigid switching of communication to system with alternate technology of access. EFFECT: reliable switching of communication from code-division multiple access system to system with alternate technology of access. 11 cl, 3 dwg
