FIELD: mechanical engineering, producing machines of impacted process. SUBSTANCE: air-operated hammer contains tool installed to the housing, body provided with shocker, handle, and nut. The body is mounted in the housing for axial movement in two cylindrical collars spacing the housing and the body into three chambers. The middle chamber is in communication with a source of the compressed air and two other chambers are in permanent communication with the atmosphere. The body is provided with two rows of openings connecting internal space of the body with its external surface. The distances between the collar and rows of the openings are the same.
