FIELD: mining; applicable in opencast mineral mining for ventilation of deep opencasts under conditions of atmospheric inversion. SUBSTANCE: method includes production of ventilation flow by directed action of plants generating free turbulent jets in opencast space. Flow control and maintenance of long-range air- supplying jet for withdrawal of polluted air beyond opencast, velocity and direction of ventilation flow are regulated with help of floating inflated barrages located in opencast air space. Barrages are held and controlled from surface by ropes with help of movable winches. Required long range of air-supplying jet is maintained by provision of ascending convective air flow from heated surface of inflated barrage. EFFECT: reduced material and power expenditures for efficient ventilation of deep opencasts. 1 dwg
