FIELD: mining industry; applicable in ventilation of stagnant pockets of deep opencasts. SUBSTANCE: method includes organization of air exchange between opencast atmosphere and ambient medium by injection of clean air and suction of polluted air through air ducts by ventilation plants. With still air, air is injected until dust-gas cloud reaches the point of clean air intake. Then, air flow is reversed in pressure air ducts with changing over for suction and cleaning of pumped-out infra opencast air or its withdrawal beyond zone of air exchange. EFFECT: higher efficiency of artificial ventilation of opencasts due excluded repeated getting of removed pollution to opencast atmosphere. 2 dwg
