FIELD: manufacture of protective clothing. SUBSTANCE: heat-shielding element includes plate made from form- stable heat accumulating material and electric heater fitted inside this material and connected to power supply source. Melting point of filler of (tm) of heat-accumulating material lies within 37≅tm<53C° and 56<tm≅65. Heat-shielding clothing includes set of heat-shielding elements with temperature sensors fitted on one of them; this sensor is connected with control system of heat "charging" process. Permissible deviations of electrical resistance of heaters and mass of plates are found from mathematical dependence. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of heat accumulation in wide temperature ranges. 3 cl, 4 dwg
