HEAT-SHIELDING ELEMENT, ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS, AND HEAT-SHIELDING CLOTHING Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2132031 C1

FIELD: heat- shielding purposes including manufacture of clothing for working at sub-zero temperatures. SUBSTANCE: heat-shielding element has heat-accumulating material and electric heater mounted for connection to power supply to heat up the heat-accumulating material. Electric heater is placed inside heat-accumulating material whose melting point is between 53 and 56 C and time required for heating to melting point in element is 10-20 min when powered from 220-V ac supply.
