FIELD: information display facilities. SUBSTANCE: liquid-crystal display has two parallel plates with electrodes and polarizers which are joined over periphery to form space filled with liquid crystal. Plates are joined releasably by means of off-the-peg fastening elements which are formed on plates beforehand and do not deform in process of assembly which means that they do not change their positions on plate, do not move, do not break off and do not exert corrosive action on elements of display. EFFECT: improved operational characteristics. 17 cl, 10 dwg
