FIELD: multiple-function electronic cards. SUBSTANCE: smart card has two plates with functional components in-between that include display with liquid-crystal indicator . Novelty is that liquid-crystal indicator produced in the course of card manufacture is, essentially, component with at least one internal polarizer that has two walls mounting on their inner surfaces respective electrodes or sets of electrodes, at least one polarizer layer and liquid crystal being arranged above them; at least one of indicator walls is one of card plates whose inner surface carries respective electrode or set of electrodes.
