FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing suboccipital craniotomy and cutting inferior vermis cerebelli of IV ventricle fundus. The IV ventricle fundus is cut within the supra- and subcollicular triangles using longitudinal incisions. The tumor is removed under endoscopic control. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced risk of traumatic complications.
