The tumor being found on the right side, the initial stage is to be finished with the second duodenal segment mobilization and the inferior vena cava and renal veins being revealed. Additional vertical incision of the peritoneum above the aorta is carried out at the second stage medial with respect to the inferior mesenteric vein from aorta bifurcation to Treitz ligament. The renal blood vessels, inferior vena cava, and aorta are revealed. The renal blood vessels and ureter are treated and the Treitz ligament is cut. Regional lymphatic nodes along the aorta are withdrawn. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in accessing the inferior vena cava.
