FIELD: chemical-pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: medicinal agent is a homogeneous mixture of phenols. Preparation has meta-cresol and aliphatic mono- or polyatomic C₁-C₃-alcohol as a stabilizing agent taken in the definite ratio of components. Invention proposes also method of preparing indicated medicinal agent involving stirring homogeneous mixture of phenols at preliminary heating for 30 min followed by filtration. Mixture containing phenol and meta-cresol is heated to 30-40 C, filtrate is cooled to the room temperature and aliphatic mono-or polyatomic C₁-C₃-alcohol is added.
