FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mobile mandrel, main casings and forming facilities are positioned in sequence on platforms mounted on caterpillar or wheeled chassis. Stand-by casings for roll steel are placed in parallel to main casings. Number of main and stand-by casings and forming facilities equals number of layers of pipe-line. Apart from mentionedabove units machine is fitted with hoisting devices, tanks for fuel and binder, heating devices and pumps. Mandrel has drive in the form of key rotating shaft and mechanism transferring motion from key shaft. As result there is provided capability to manufacture pipes right at site of assembly of pipe-line which leads to reduced usage of materials and power for transportation and joining of pipes.
