FIELD: electrodeposition, deposition of coats on tubular articles used in metallurgy, mechanical engineering and instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: prior to deposition of coat assembled article is heated in antioxidant solution to temperature exceeding that of electroplating tank by 5-10 C or electric current is transmitted between anode and tube in diluted sulfuric acid. For deposition of coat alive assembled article is dipped into electroplating tank vertically. In this case electrolyte is transported inside tube by released gases which are separated from liquid. After deposition of coat assembled article is taken out of tank and is simultaneously washed by jet of liquid taken from first rinse bath by portion sufficient to compensate for evaporation of water from electroplating tank, is submerged in first rinse bath, is removed from it and is simultaneously washed by jet of liquid taken from second rinse bath by portion compensating for consumption of liquid for first washing. Then article is submerged in second rinse bath and is washed by purified water. Each washing is terminated with blow-off of drops of liquid from surface of article by air. EFFECT: prevention of throw-off of chrome-carrying flow and saving of water. 2 cl
