FIELD: textile engineering. SUBSTANCE: filling thread brake has catch for pressing spool flange to layer casing, slotted adjusting rod axially located in dead-end smooth surface opening of casing, torsion spring engageable at one end with catch and at other end with adjusting rod, and compression spring arranged coaxially with respect to torsion spring for biasing adjusting rod to restricting pin. Slots are made on side adjacent to open end of dead-end opening. Restricting pin is arranged at side adjacent to open end of dead-end opening perpendicular to opening axis and is adapted for insertion into rod slot. Adjusting rod slots are running in diametrical direction. Restricting pin is positioned so that its axis intersects dead-end opening axis. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased precision in adjusting the extent of filling thread tension. 2 dwg
