SLIDING BEARING MANUFACTURING METHOD Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2173417 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of production of laminated articles by winding and can be used for making sliding bearings with provision of their long service life. Perforated tube made of composite antifriction material is used as mandrel. This tube, together with cloth roll, is placed in centrifuge where cloth is impregnated with composite antifriction material by centrifuging through holes in perforated bushing. Such method of impregnation of cloth provides uniform distribution of composite material over entire volume of bearings, and provision of perforated bushing made of composite material reduced friction force and increases service life of bearing unit. EFFECT: increased serviceability of sliding bearings. 2 dwg
