FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to process of manufacture of laminated articles by winding and it can be used in making of sliding bearings. According to proposed method of manufacture of sliding bearing by winding cloth onto mandrel, mandrel with roll of cloth is placed into centrifuge where cloth is impregnated with composite antifriction compound through holes in mandrel. Multilayer bushing made of metal gauze, for instance, bronze, is used as mandrel. Method provides uniform distribution of antifriction composite compound over entire volume of bearing which precludes separation. Use of bushing made of bronze gauze increases impact strength, heat removal and wear resistance of friction unit. EFFECT: enhanced quality of sliding bearing. 2 dwg
