FIELD: mechanical engineering; manufacture of sliding bearings from composite fibrous materials. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, antifriction bushing is formed and screw grooves are cut on its cylindrical surface. Priestesses wire is fitted in grooves. Ends of wire are rigidly fixed in body of antifriction bushing by means of holes. Then cloth impregnated with binder is wound on to form cage of sliding bearing. EFFECT: provision of reliable fastening of antifriction bushing in cage, increased service life of bearing. 2 cl, 1 dwg _
