FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: signal of voltage U1 characterizing vector of unbalance of grinding wheel and balancing device is generated by a vibration-speed transducer. Signals from electron-optic transducers (sensor, pickup) are stored to capacitors of U1 x and U1 y voltages. The capacitors are discharged with the same speed at U1 x and U1 y voltages are reduced down to U2 voltage exceeding noise voltage. Due to above mention method pulse-position signal Xp and Yp are generated by means of comparators and then they are transforms into power pulse-position signal for supplying electric motors by means of which correction weights are displaced until the unbalance of the grinding wheel is corrected. Finite switches <X+>, <X-<, <Y+>, <Y-<, <Xн> and <Yн> record the arrangement of correction weights in the base position and position of the maximum of unbalance, and also define amount and direction of the vector of unbalance of the grinding wheel measuring U1x and U1y. EFFECT: expansion of technological resources and enhanced accuracy. 10 cl, 3 dwg
