FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to balancing flexible rotors or shafts of machines and equipment, for example rotors of gas centrifuges. The procedure for balancing consists in: measuring vectors of runout in control sections of the rotor at various rotation frequencies, in calculation of correcting weights to eliminate unbalances for all trend-like proper forms of the rotor and also in adding or removal of correcting weights in random chosen planes of correction on the rotor. The procedure is distinguished with determination of values of correcting weights and angles of their application or removal by certain and specified parametres of the rotor on base of solution of rotor motion equation. The following is referred to the determined parametres of the rotor: weight, equatorial and polar moments of inertia, coordinate of gravity centre, values of critical frequencies and proper functions. Not related to each other coordinates of planes of runout measurements and coordinates of planes of correcting weights arrangement are referred to specified parametres of the rotor.
EFFECT: simultaneous elimination of unbalance for all trend-like proper forms of rotor.
