FIELD: food industry, more particularly alcoholic beverage industry, vodka production. SUBSTANCE: aqueous alcoholic solutions are purified by treating them with activated carbon of vegetable origin. Activated carbon includes various combinations of bone and birch chars at 1:2 volume ratio thereof, and treatment is carried out at filtration rate from 75 to 80 dal/h for fresh chars and from 58 to 60 dal/h for regenerated chars. EFFECT: improved quality of purification of aqueous alcoholic solutions and more efficient purification process. 1 ex
