FIELD: mechanical engineering; testing facilities. SUBSTANCE: method comes to the following: lubricating material or its components are delivered at practically constant flow velocity into injector with one hole through which lubricating material is sprayed in engine air intake manifold. Velocity of lubricating material flow is adjusted to that it should be equal to 2-8% of field flow velocity. Viscosity of lubricating material near injector with one hole is 30-50 cSt. Lubricating material and fuel are combusted with formation of exhaust gases. Exhaust gases and noncombusted particles contained in exhaust gases formed at combustion are evaluated. Invention contains description of device used for implementing the method.
