FIELD: construction engineering; compensation for temperature variations and dampening pipeline vibrations. SUBSTANCE: bellows body consists of narrow corrugations and at least one wide corrugation. Walls of corrugations are engageable by convex and concave surfaces. Convex and concave surfaces have form of semicircle in longitudinal section. Relation of radius R of convex surface of wide corrugation to radius r of concave surface of narrow corrugation is selected in the range from 1.5 to 2.5. Relation of height H between convex surface of wide corrugation and concave surface of narrow corrugation which is engageable with it to height h between convex surface and concave surface of narrow corrugation is selected from 0.5 to 1.5. Relation of radius R₁ of convex surface between wide and narrow corrugations to radius r₁ of concave surface between narrow corrugations is selected from 1.0 to 2.2.
