FIELD: shoe industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing at least one felted plate and cutting out at least one sole, with boot trace being cut out from tip to heel; bending parts of boot trace outside; joining sole to parts of boot trace for forming boot sole. In case felt plate has gradually changing thickness, sole must have heel part with greater thickness. Boot bottom may be formed of several rows of interconnected plates, and heel part of boot may be thickened part of bottom. Fulled boot has top part, tip and rear parts, and sole made from at least one felt plate stitched with side parts of boot lower part, rear and tip parts along bottom contour. Boot bottom may be formed of several felt plates positioned one onto another and interconnected by stitching. Boot bottom may have thickened heel part. Method allows relatively impermeable boots of increased durability and improved orthopedic qualities to be produced.
