FIELD: personal and household items.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the shoe industry and can be used in the manufacture of warm footwear made of fine felt. Method of manufacturing warm footwear from felt, which includes cutting out the upper from a roll material, forming on a shoetree and bonding with a sole, while felt of 2.5–3.5 mm thick is used as a roll material, the workpiece is made as a one-piece flat outer part of the upper, additionally, a rigilene is applied in the form of a band with a width of 40–50 mm in the region of the bend of the part of the footwear being subjected to the greatest deformation, followed by its fixation, then the part is connected along the back seam, into which a zipper is stitched. Fixation of the rigilene is performed by felting or sizing, or by face cutting the part from felt and then inserting riglene between the layers of felt. Proposed method makes it possible to produce a model lightweight footwear from felt with a thickness not exceeding 3.5 mm without additional lining details, while ensuring the form-stability of the product, the necessary hygienic and ergonomic properties.
EFFECT: invention can be used in the manufacture of warm footwear made of fine felt.
