FIELD: liquid mixture separation by distillation. SUBSTANCE: method involves increasing content of low-volatile component in vapor supplied into column; separating vapor in different compositions by fractionally evaporating portion of liquid discharged from lower part of column in several evaporating stills. Fraction of terminating evaporating still has maximum concentration of low-volatile component and is supplied from lower part of column, and previous fractions are fed into column at increasing heights. These fractions have greater content of low-volatile component than vapor in zones of column where fractions are introduced. So, liquid passed through vapor has increased content of low-volatile component at column outlet end. While being passed through all evaporating stills, liquid becomes more depleted of volatile component and, as a result, still bottoms have higher content of low-volatile component than still bottoms produced at the same total consumption of vapor obtained in one evaporating still. It allows reflux ratio to be reduced, when required, and power consumption to be reduced or column height to be decreased. EFFECT: increased efficiency in separating liquid mixtures and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
