FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of commercial products from waste water pollutants of light hydrocarbons, ethylene glycol, spent AIL irrespective of their formation non-uniformity coefficient and temperature, can be used for purification of waste water of industrial enterprises with high concentration of ethylene glycol or light hydrocarbons and spent anti-icing liquid (AIL) formed at aerodromes. Principle of the method implementation is presented using the example of obtaining a commercial product – ethylene glycol from industrial wastewater highly concentrated in ethylene glycol; also given is particular example of the production of commercial ethylene glycol from spent AIL on the basis of the Sheremetyevo airport airfield. Technological scheme provides for two main units, in the first one there is preparation of waste water for rectification, by successive implementation of stages of preparation of highly concentrated on ethylene glycol industrial waste water and AIL, which form the best conditions for rectification, and includes reagent pressure flotation and two units of bag filters. In the second unit, the commercial product is rectified. This unit includes two columns: atmospheric distillation column and complex vacuum distillation column. No pressurized elements are used in the rectification plant; additionally, formation of salts on heat exchange surfaces is prevented. Process flow diagram of the disclosed method provides a wide range of operation depending on temperature, flow rate of waste water, concentration of ethylene glycol in industrial waste water or spent AIL, obtaining a commercial product with ethylene glycol content of not less than 99.6%.

EFFECT: implementation of the technology according to the disclosed method enables to evaluate highly concentrated industrial waste water, as well as spent AIL as secondary material resources (SMR) with subsequent production of a commercial product, while achieving stability and reliability of producing commercial ethylene glycol, minimizing costs for obtaining a product, achieving standardized quality for ethylene glycol in condensation products, regardless of the initial concentrations of ethylene glycol in industrial waste water, as well as improving the environmental situation on the territories adjacent to the aerodrome or production enterprises.
