FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: gearbox has case, coaxial input and output shafts, countershaft parallel to input and output shafts and three three-position clutches. Three gears are freely fitted on input shaft. Countershaft gears are secured and engaged in pairs with gears of coaxial shafts. One of three-position clutches is installed on output shaft between low gears. Two other three-position clutches are installed on input shaft. The first of the clutches is arranged between the first and second pairs of gears, and the second clutch is arranged between the third pair of gears and toothed rim of output shaft. EFFECT: increased efficiency of gearbox, reduced metal usage due to increase of number of speeds at the same number of gears. 4 dwg
