FIELD: preparation of discolorated styrene in petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: styrene is prepared by dehydrogenation of ethyl benzene or during combined preparation of propylene oxide and styrene. The resulting styrene is treated with nitrogen at rate of 0.6-1.0 l of nitrogen per liter of styrene per min. EFFECT: more efficient decoloration method. 1 tbl
