FIELD: cracking furnace and heat-exchanger pipes connecting equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for feeding cracking gases from cracking furnace coil into equally spaced circumferentially arranged heat-exchanging tubes for fast cooling has outer round part with gas channel including inlet channel and outlet channel for directing gas from outlet channel into heat-exchanging tubes of heat-exchanger. Outlet channel has such shape that cross-section area of this channel is decreasing in the direction of gas so as to define narrowing portion at apparatus outlet end. Apparatus is further provided with inner part resting upon outer part so as to define in conjunction with it gas channel. A portion of outer part is shaped so as to form concentric widening conical inlet channel extending in longitudinal direction and communicated with channel between inner and outer parts. Channel defined between inner and outer parts of apparatus is composed of a) annular diffuser passage communicated with widening inlet channel along its outer perimeter and radially extending from it, with section area of passage increasing in radial outer direction, and b) annular outlet passage extending in longitudinal direction and communicated with annular diffuser passage along its radial outer perimeter. Apparatus may be used for connecting cracking furnace and heat-exchanger tubes, as well as pipeline heat-exchanger.
