FIELD: oil refining.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a cracking furnace comprising pyrolytic pipe 1 for transferring a fluid medium flow, wherein the pyrolysis tube comprises a radially inner housing 3 and radius wall 2, which together form an annular flow channel 5, wherein 1) each of the internal along the radius of the body and the outer along the radius wall have the corresponding central lines, which extend along spiral in longitudinal direction of pyrolytic pipe, to provide possibility of supporting rotation of fluid medium during its passage through pyrolytic pipe; or 2) the outer wall along the radius has a central line extending along the spiral in the longitudinal direction of the pyrolytic pipe to ensure the possibility of maintaining the fluid medium rotation during its passage through the pyrolytic pipe; or 3) internal along radius housing comprises main housing having central line, which extends spirally in the pyrolysis tube lengthwise direction to allow the fluid medium rotation to be maintained as it passes through the pyrolytic pipe. Invention also relates to a method of cracking hydrocarbon material in a cracking furnace.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of heat exchange in fluid medium during rotation of fluid medium flow in annular flow channel, achievement of small residence time and improved output, that is obtaining desired cracking products.
