FIELD: wind power engineering; supply of different consumers. SUBSTANCE: wind-electric generating plant has generator and rotor which has at least two sail blades, sails of blades being connected with rotor by slings. According to invention, blade has at least one said elementary cell. Said cell consists of rectangular sail enclosing support rod and connected with driven rod of rotor by slings. One end of each sling is connected to driven rod and other end, to one of two sides of sail which are parallel to support rod. Axis of rotor can be arranged vertically, and sail blade can rest on support trolleys installed on horizontal closed track. Plant can be furnished additionally with device to regulate area of sail up to complete closing of range at storm loads. Invention can be used also for conversion of energy of water flows. EFFECT: simplified design of wind electric generating plants with sail blades, increased protection from high wind. 8 cl, 5 dwg
