FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to combination wind-and-diesel driven electric generating plants designed for independent power supply being an additional device to that covered by Inventor's Certificate RU No. 2139444. According to said invention, ballast load with power regulator is introduced additionally into self-contained wind-and-diesel driven electric generating plant covered by Inventor's Certificate RU No. 2139444. Ballast load is connected to consumer buses through automatic circuit breaker furnished with auxiliary contacts. Self-contained wind-and-diesel driven electric generating plant is furnished additionally with power regulator of internal combustion engine, induction machine active power transducer, the second frequency relay with auxiliary contacts, plant maximum active power setter, first adder, third frequency relay, second adder and second comparator. Output of the first frequency relay is connected additionally to circuit breaker opening device and ballast load regulator, outputs of load active power transducers and induction machine are connected to input of the first adder whose output is connected to power regulator of internal combustion engine. Output of the second frequency relay is connected through timer to closing device of ballast load circuit breaker. Outputs of plant maximum power setter and load active power transducer are connected to input of the second comparator whose output is connected to circuit breaker opening device and ballast load regulator. Outputs of plant maximum power setter and load active power transducer are connected to input of the second adder whose output is connected to ballast load regulator through auxiliary contacts of the second frequency relay and ballast load circuit breaker according to AND circuit. Output of the third frequency relay is connected to diesel engine starting and disconnecting clutch engagement relay, wind plant automatic control system and to opening devices of induction machine and ballast load circuit breakers and to ballast load regulator. EFFECT: provision of uninterrupted power supply of consumers at high wind velocity and with power of wind plant in control range exceeding load power. 1 dwg
