FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to equipment measuring geometric parameters of wear of wire by optical contact-free method. In correspondence with invention scattering mirror is placed on current collecting plate and light source, mirrors of system monitoring position of contact wire and multichannel photodetector coming in the form of coordinate-sensitive transmitter, matrix and heat photodetectors are housed in one optical unit suspended from horizontal rotation axis. Light source is optically coupled to tested surface of wire by means of scattering mirror and mirrors of system monitoring position of contact wire. EFFECT: multichannel test of parameters with raised measurement accuracy, determination of wear of wire due to friction, local wear caused by electric erosion, local overheating in points of attachment of current leads. 4 dwg
