FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining pathologic process nature in pharyngeal tonsil in children more than 2 years old. To do it, lymphocyte fraction is separated from blood mononuclear population of the given children category to determine neutrophil and lymphocyte spontaneous adhesion values. Neutrophil and lymphocyte spontaneous adhesion being within the limits of 67.17+3.55 and 76.96+3.78, respectively, pharyngeal tonsil hypertrophy is diagnosed. The values being equal to 57.04+1.86 and 60.78+3.8, respectively, chronic adenoiditis is considered to be the case. The values being equal to 51.07+2.27 and 57.71+6.99, respectively, chronic adenoiditis exacerbation is considered to be the case. EFFECT: higher accuracy; verified pathomorphological process in pharyngeal tonsil. 1 tbl
