FIELD: devices for molding ceramic articles mainly ceramic brick with relief pattern on front surface. SUBSTANCE: device has die carrier with nozzle and cores or insert fixed inside nozzle of die carrier for outside depression of damp ceramic mass in-between in the form of bar; device is also provided with DC source whose unlike-polarity leads are connected to two other members of device electrically insulated from each other. At least one core or insert projecting from end of die carrier nozzle towards ceramic mass motion through distance L which is not less than 2T, where T is minimal gap between nozzle and projecting insert. In addition, device is provided with at least one tool for treating external surface of bar installed at distance M from nozzle end; distance M is chosen between 2T and L+2T. Tool and projecting insert are made of conducting material; they are electrically insulated and connected to unlike-polarity leads of DC source.
