FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: engine has housing with internal cylindrical space side covers accommodating rotor-piston provided with side surfaces, radial projections and radial cavities on periphery, thus forming segment spaces with housing. Side surfaces of rotor-piston tightly fit side covers. Radial projections f rotor-piston peripheral surface tightly fit internal cylindrical surface of housing space. Combustion chamber is arranged out of the limits of internal cylindrical space placed in communication with space through inlet and outlet channels provided with controlled spools. Dividing blades are installed for radial displacement in slots of housing and inner internal surfaces of side covers, and they form working segment spaces together with radial cavities of rotor-piston, internal surface of cylindrical housing and its side covers. Engine has second combustion chamber identical to first combustion chamber, being insulated from the first chamber. The latter communicates with internal cylindrical space of housing through first inlet and first outlet channels furnished with controlled spools. Second combustion chamber communicates with internal cylindrical space of housing by means of second inlet and second outlet channels furnished with controlled spools.
